About Canton Music Academy
Canton Music Academy provides private music lessons for students of all ages and experience levels. Our focus is simple: consistent lessons, clear instruction, and steady progress.
Since opening in 2011, we’ve worked with hundreds of students from Canton, Plymouth, Westland, Livonia, and surrounding areas. Whether someone is just getting started or continuing from a previous program, we provide a structured approach that helps students stay on track.
Part of an Established Music Education Network
Canton Music Academy is part of the same organization as Grosse Pointe Music Academy, which has been offering music lessons since 2005. This allows us to maintain a consistent standard across locations while continuing to improve how we teach and schedule lessons.

Structured Lessons That Fit Your Schedule
We offer lessons throughout the week, including after school, evenings, and weekends. Students are placed into a consistent weekly time to help build routine and momentum.
Lesson lengths include 30, 45, and 60 minutes depending on the student’s age and goals.
Performance Opportunities
Students have the option to participate in recitals held throughout the year. These events provide a clear goal to work toward and help build confidence through performance.
Participation is optional, but many students benefit from preparing and sharing what they’ve learned.
