We’re excited to announce something brand new: Oboe lessons in Canton are now available at Canton Music Academy! Whether you’re a beginner or an advancing player, you can now study this unique and expressive woodwind instrument with our newest instructor, Samantha F.
Samantha is a woodwind specialist who teaches oboe, flute, clarinet, and saxophone. She joins us with a deep passion for music education and a wealth of performance experience.
Meet Samantha F. – Our New Woodwind Instructor
Samantha recently graduated from Berklee College of Music, where she earned a Bachelor’s in Film Scoring and minors in Global Music Studies and History. During her time at Berklee, she discovered her love for teaching and woodwind doubling, helping students not only build their skills but also truly enjoy the learning process.
She has performed in orchestras, chamber ensembles, and professional recording sessions—and she brings that real-world experience directly into her teaching. Samantha’s lessons focus on:
- Developing a strong technical foundation
- Encouraging musical creativity
- Making learning rewarding and fun
Whether you’re picking up the oboe for the first time or preparing for an audition, Samantha has the tools and experience to help you grow.
